San Francisco Union Square

We went to San Francisco Chinatown and Union Square today. This is the first time that we have been to Union Square. Its amazing. The stores are rich and walkways are big with lots of crowds. The atmosphere is very lively there. I don't understand why we haven't been to this place for such a long time. There are only a few place that we have visited in San Francisco and lot more to visit. We can easily spend a day roaming on the streets here. We always take the Cable Car on California/Embarcadero, but never go on the other cable car on Powell street. This time when were riding the California one, the tickets person told us that we could pay $11 for a day trip. Each way is $5. So for a dollar more we could ride as much as we like (including all the buses). So this is the ticket I would suggest for any one riding the cable car. So we got down at Chinatown, roamed there for a while and took the Powell cable car. Since there is lot of shopping and nice views on this line, its usually very crowded.
